Lavanya's 20+ year career spanned leading organizations and people in companies like Meta, Match Group, HeyGen and many more. She is an industry expert in User advocacy, Product building and problem solving. She has had a very diverse and rich experience working on Product, Program and Operations with domains in Health care, Finance, Retail, Social media and communities. She grew up in India and built her career in the US and currently serves Global markets and users. She is a Tech leader by the day and a passionate educator and mother of a teenager by the night.

Amy Battisti started her career as a high school English teacher and track coach in Rhode Island. She later earned her Master’s degree from Providence College in Education/School Counseling. Amy spent the next two decades working to support students as a school counselor in a large urban public school district. She was selected as part of a small team of educators chosen to reopen a school that had been closed for many years and was charged with everything from hiring all subsequent staff to creating an advisory program. She focused on changing the way support was delivered to students who often experienced barriers to their educational success, including socioeconomic and language challenges. Amy also worked closely with other school administrators to create Career and Technical Pathways that allowed students more access to dual enrollment courses that were aligned with their career aspirations. Her belief has always been connecting with students around the ordinary parts of school life is an important key to being able to successfully help students navigate through the more difficult and often unforeseen parts of their lives. Most recently Amy has stepped into the role of Director of Student Life at an all girls high school in Silicon Valley. She continues to work hard to create systems that create access and equity for all of her students regardless of their family background.
